    Campus Announcement

    Campus Announcement

Please be advised that effective 12/31/21, Clarice will be retiring from Texas County Technical College. She has been a foundational leader at the campus for over 16 years. Her passion for seeing students become excellent nurses is evident in how she has established high standards within the campus for so many years and achieved excellent outcomes with graduates becoming nurses who serve our community.  We wish her the best in pursuing her interests in retirement

Clarice’s exceptional qualities have inspired all of us in so many ways. For that, we cannot say “thank you” enough. You will be remembered not just for the things you've accomplished as the leader of this campus but also for your care and transparency. If it were up to us, we would veto your retirement so we would not have to face the prospect of carrying on without you at the helm of the ship.

Thank you for creating so many opportunities for all of us and for being  passionate about our well-being. On behalf of the college, my colleagues, and the students, I wish you the best in all your future endeavors.

It is with great excitement to announce that I have been selected as Clarice’s replacement. In my new role as Executive Director of Academic Operations, I am looking forward to continuing the same level of excellence that we have worked hard to achieve. My previous position allowed me to work closely with Clarice. During my eight years of working under her leadership, I have acquired knowledge that will facilitate our campus to continue in the same manner you have grown accustomed to.  I am truly dedicated to our college mission of providing the best education possible to our students. I am confident that TCTC will continue to have a positive impact not only in Houston, MO, but the surrounding communities as well.

I look forward working with my colleagues, current and future students, and members of the community in my new role. Together, we can continue to make changes in people’s lives.

I wish you all the happiest of holidays.
